NFL Reviews Additional Abuse Allegations Against Packers' Jacobs
· Confirmed
In Short: ESPN reported Saturday that the NFL will review additional allegations of physical and verbal abuse by Jacobs, stemming from a public records release from the Hobart/Lawrence Police Department.

ESPN reported Saturday that the NFL will review additional allegations of physical and verbal abuse by Jacobs, stemming from a public records release from the Hobart/Lawrence Police Department.
In the 129-page report released Friday, a woman alleged that Jacobs attempted to strangle or suffocate her during an incident in May 2026.
Jacobs was arrested after a car he was a passenger in was pulled over on May 26, and he told officers he had already given his cellphone to his attorneys because he was planning on turning himself in.
Three women have alleged abuse by Jacobs to the Hobart/Lawrence Police Department, with incidents dating back to April 2021.
Jacobs' attorneys, David Z., said the Brown County District Attorney's office had these uncorroborated, old, and previously unreported allegations for months.
One woman contacted police in June 2026 about an alleged incident involving Jacobs in January 2022, while another woman contacted police after Jacobs' arrest to report a similar incident around 2023.
The NFL placed Jacobs on the Commissioner’s Exempt List in August after charges were filed against him, causing him to miss the Packers' first six games of the season.
Jacobs made his season debut against Detroit and followed it up with a 39-yard rushing day in the Packers' 27-19 win over the Carolina Panthers on Thursday night.
MarShawn Lloyd was the Packers' leading rusher before Jacobs returned, but Lloyd is averaging just 2.6 yards per carry and never saw a game with more than 40 rushing yards.
Jacobs pleaded no contest to two misdemeanor charges — battery and criminal damage to property — and was ordered to pay a $1,000 fine and complete community service over the next 12 months.
If Jacobs fails to meet these requirements, he can be returned to court and found guilty on the charges, each carrying a nine-month maximum sentence in county jail and a $10,000 fine.
ESPN reported that the woman who initially accused Jacobs said she hadn't previously reported the incident to law enforcement because she remained friends with him afterward and was concerned her allegations wouldn't be believed.
What this adds
The new allegations add to the ongoing investigation into Jacobs' conduct, which has been a source of controversy for the Packers and the NFL.
The NFL's review of these new allegations could affect Jacobs' status with the team and the league's Personal Conduct Policy.
