Noel Clarke Pleads Not Guilty to Six Sex Offenses
· Confirmed
In Short: Actor and filmmaker Noel Clarke pleaded not guilty to six sex offenses at Westminster Magistrates Court in London on Wednesday, according to multiple reports.

The charges against Clarke include two counts of sexual assault, three charges of voyeurism, and one count of exposure. The alleged offenses took place between 2007 and 2016, involving five women.
Clarke, who gained fame for his roles in 'Doctor Who' and the 'Kidulthood' film series, appeared before a judge to enter his pleas. He was granted bail and will next appear at Southwark Crown Court on November 18.
Police were photographed leaving Clarke’s house with boxes on the day of his court appearance, indicating the ongoing investigation.
The case against Clarke stems from a Guardian exposé published in 2021, which detailed claims from 20 women accusing him of groping, sexual misconduct, and bullying. Over a dozen women testified against Clarke, and he was ordered to pay £3 million ($4 million) toward the Guardian’s legal costs.
Clarke had previously denied the claims and lost a libel case against the Guardian in 2025. The judge found Clarke to lack credibility as a witness and held that the paper’s reporting was 'substantially true.'
The actor’s legal team formally stated his not guilty plea during the proceedings. The specifics of the alleged offenses, beyond the general charges, have not been detailed in public court documents.
Clarke’s next court appearance will coincide with Russell Brand’s ongoing rape and sexual assault trial at Southwark Crown Court.
