Brewers Fan Redeems 2015 'Timeless Ticket' for World Series
· Confirmed
In Short: Nate Holzman, a lifelong Milwaukee Brewers fan, is set to attend Game 1 of the World Series after redeeming a 'Timeless Ticket' he purchased 12 years ago.

In 2015, the Milwaukee Brewers sold 1,000 'Timeless Tickets' for $1,000 each, promising buyers a seat to any future home game with the 'best available' seating at the time of redemption.
Holzman, originally from Oak Creek and now living in Los Angeles, decided to cash in his ticket after attending Game 3 of the National League Championship Series in Los Angeles.
"For them to not really honor it in the original way...doesn’t feel right," said Fochesato, another 'Timeless Ticket' holder, who expressed disappointment over the limited seating options.
"I wasn’t envisioning, hey, we’re going to get front row. But certainly first ten rows," said Kevin Deaton, another fan who had hoped for better seats.
"The closest I got was the alternative route. I emailed them around 9 a.m. too, saying I was a TT holder. They sent me a form to fill out. And ONLY nosebleed seats were available because they sold the rest of the tickets in that 10 a.m. presale and the afterward 2 p.m. sale. Needless to say, extremely disappointed with the Brewers on this one," said Jack Stacker, a 'Timeless Ticket' holder.
"I mean, just to be there, it’s just a … it’s a once-in-a-lifetime thing," said Schoenfeld, another fan who successfully redeemed her ticket.
"The excitement of Game 7, if it gets that far, and at home," said Blaine, another fan looking forward to the potential of a home game.
"I don’t know what they could do to make this right for us," said Kyle, expressing frustration over the redemption process.
"I’ve been holding onto it, hoping and waiting and getting ready to go and cash this thing in," said Schoenfeld, reflecting on the anticipation.
"The Brewers organization said they have received an unprecedented amount of emails from fans requesting to redeem their Timeless Tickets," reported NBC26.
"Since that story ran on Friday I've heard from a thousand of my closest friends. People I haven't heard from forever, social media, I guess it's all over social media," Holzman said, noting the widespread interest in his redemption.
What this adds
The Milwaukee Brewers organization has faced criticism for the limited seating options available to 'Timeless Ticket' holders.
The 'Timeless Ticket' holders were promised the best available seating, but many have received less desirable options.

What's confirmed
- Essentially, Milwaukee was asking fans to bet on a future that looked awfully uncertain at the time. 🚨In 2015, the Milwaukee Brewers sold 1000 “Timeless Tickets” to fans for $1000 each that could be used for ANY game in the future The Brewers confirmed they are honoring "Timeless Ticket" redemptions for World Series games pic.twitter.com/gH5i31CUIi Meanwhile, the Pirates didn't need to sell their fans hope.
- For the first time since 1982, the Milwaukee Brewers are headed to the World Series after sweeping the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Championship Series.
What's still developing
- Fast-forward to this season’s World Series run, and Fochesato says his golden ticket is now rusting—both literally and figuratively.
- "But I wish it would have been easier, and we could have gotten better."
- "Whether it's this season, the year 2050, or the 7th game of the World Series, all are valid games to redeem a Timeless Ticket." And there's proof of at least one fan trying to finally cash in on their investment.
- "If they can redeem this ticket for me and get me to the game as I've pictured in my mind for the last 12 years, it would be the best thing ever." After winning an MLB-best 103 games in the regular season and beating the San Diego Padres in four games in the National League Division Series, the Brewers swept the defending, back-to-back World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLCS.
- Milwaukee will be making its first trip to the World Series since 1982 and will play either the Cleveland Guardians or Tampa Bay Rays.
- Schoenfeld said redeeming hers gave her one World Series ticket and the opportunity to purchase up to three additional tickets at face value.
- “It’s just so exciting for our whole family,” she said.
- In January 2015, the Brewers sweetened the deal by adding nine additional regular-season ticket vouchers.
- If someone had told Pirates fans back then that one of these two franchises would be playing in the 2026 World Series, it's difficult to imagine many would have picked Milwaukee.
- Back in 2014, the Milwaukee Brewers asked their fans to spend $1,000 on a promise that might not pay off for decades.

- Holzman, a new father, reflected on the significance of the moment, noting that his daughter is the same age he was the last time the Brewers made it to the World Series.
