In Short: The Brewers organization has received an unprecedented amount of emails from fans requesting to redeem their 'Timeless Tickets.' Some fans were led to believe they would be able to select from premium lower-box seating, but many found their options limited.

Nate Holzman, a lifelong Milwaukee Brewers fan, is set to attend Game 1 of the World Series after redeeming a 'Timeless Ticket' he purchased 12 years ago. Holzman, originally from Oak Creek and now living in Los Angeles, was one of 1,000 people to buy the embossed 'Timeless Ticket' from the Brewers in 2015.

In 2015, the Milwaukee Brewers sold 1,000 'Timeless Tickets' for $1,000 each, promising buyers a seat to any future home game at American Family Field. The tickets could be redeemed for the best available seat locations, subject to ticket availability at the time of redemption.

Holzman decided to cash in his ticket after attending Game 3 of the National League Championship Series in Los Angeles. He noted that his daughter is the same age he was the last time the Brewers made it to the World Series in 1982.

Meanwhile, another fan, Fochesato, expressed disappointment with the redemption process. Fochesato said he was given a form the day before tickets went on sale to the general public, leaving him with limited options restricted primarily to the terrace level and standing-room-only.

Jack Stacker, another 'Timeless Ticket' holder, described his experience as difficult. He said he called the ticket line around 9 a.m. but got busy lines all day, and only nosebleed seats were available because the rest of the tickets had been sold in the presale.

Kevin and Kyle, who purchased their tickets in 2015, knew all along they would patiently wait for the perfect time to use them—a World Series in Milwaukee. They expressed hope that the Brewers would honor the original promise of premium seating.

The Milwaukee Brewers are making their first trip to the World Series since 1982, and they will play either the Cleveland Guardians or Tampa Bay Rays.

Schoenfeld, another fan, said redeeming her ticket gave her one World Series ticket and the opportunity to purchase up to three additional tickets at face value. She exclaimed, “I’m like, oh, heck no! We’re so going!”

The 'Timeless Ticket' also allowed the owner to purchase up to three additional tickets for face value, subject to ticket availability at the time of redemption.

Fochesato expressed his wish that the process would have been easier and that they could have gotten better seating. He said, “For them to not really honor it in the original way... doesn’t feel right. My dad is 76, so this is probably the last chance.”
