Bronny James, son of LeBron James, said Monday at Lakers media day that he and his father did not have extensive discussions about LeBron's decision to leave the Los Angeles Lakers for the Philadelphia 76ers.

We're men of very little words when it comes to talking about business and what we're going to do and how we feel about each other,' Bronny said. 'So, it wasn't really much [discussion] to be honest with you.

Bronny, whose $2.3 million contract for this season is guaranteed, said he has spent the summer focusing on his role backing up Lakers guards Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves.

I'm happy for him and excited to see where their season goes,' Bronny said, expressing his support for his father's move.

Bronny, who goes by the name LeBron on the court, played in 42 games last season and eight playoff games.

When LeBron left the Lakers, he consulted his family on the decision to sign with the 76ers, but much was apparently left unsaid with Bronny.

Despite the lack of extensive discussion, Bronny is looking forward to the first time the Lakers face the 76ers this season, on Christmas in L.A.
