Meta Launches Customizable AI Spaces in Muse App
Confirmed
In Short: Meta has unveiled a new feature in its Muse app, allowing users to create personalized interactive experiences called 'spaces,' according to Digital Trends.

These spaces are custom experiences built around a user's interests and daily routine, as described by Meta. Users can describe their idea to Muse, and the app will build it, refining it further as needed.
Spaces can be anything from a shopping hub to a school dashboard, and they live within the same app, accessible via the sidebar or main tabs.
Meta notes that these spaces are personal from the start and can be pinned, hidden, or scheduled to appear at specific times.
Muse Voice, a feature that enables users to call and video chat with the AI assistant, is now available to everyone in the U.S.
Meta is expanding its AI agent Muse to small businesses and adding integrations with software like Shopify, Dropbox, and Slack.
The company is also making a bigger push into enterprise AI, launching Meta Enterprise Platform as a new business pillar.
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg thanked Apple CEO John Ternus for working with Meta on the release of Muse Spark Open, which runs on Apple M5 Ultra Mac Studios.
Meta reported better-than-expected revenue in its third-quarter earnings report and issued strong guidance for the current period.
The Information reports that Meta's new AI glasses, internally known as Luna, could be unveiled at Meta Connect on September 23 and 24, with shipments potentially beginning in October.
What this adds

What's confirmed
- Your spaces live in the same app, and you can pin them to the sidebar or your main tabs, hide them, or even schedule when they appear.
- All you have to do is describe the idea to Muse, and it will build it.
What's still developing
- Meta is finally joining that bandwagon, but with a twist.
- However, these words and phrases are not outright blocked.
- You can keep refining a space afterward by asking Muse to add missing pieces, change the look, or tweak how it works.
- Playing around with spaces in Muse lately — tell Muse what you need and it builds it.
- Instead of calling them apps or mini apps, Meta refers to them as Spaces, describing each one as a custom experience built around a user’s interests and daily routine.
- Meta notes that you can build yourself a shopping hub that serves as a home for all your wish lists, product listings, and gift ideas.
- Behind the scenes, Meta is having some of these calls being handled by humans in call centers, 404 Media reports, despite employees practically begging the company not to go through with the charade.
- For families, Meta suggests a school dashboard that identifies relevant events in school email and puts them on a calendar.
- Meta announced on November 6, 2026 that spaces are now available everywhere Muse is available, letting users create persistent, customized experiences inside the app by describing an idea and refining the result with Muse.
- The company says spaces are available starting today everywhere Muse is offered, which includes Canada, where Muse launched in September.
- Meta is making another push to bring artificial intelligence to the masses with Muse, a personal assistant it says can put AI in the hands of virtually anyone.
- With a keychain device called Charm on the way and Meta’s AI glasses next in line, Muse is the new star of the company’s hardware lineup, and Mark Zuckerberg suddenly has one of the first AI agents worth wearing.
