watchOS 27.3 beta adds new Siri Recap and Live Rewind features for Apple Watch
Confirmed
In Short: Apple has released the developer beta of watchOS 27.3, introducing two new Audio Intelligence features: Live Rewind and Siri Recap, for the Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4.

According to Apple, these features do not create or store audio recordings, and the raw audio used for processing is completely inaccessible to the operating systems, apps, the user, or Apple.
The new Audio Intelligence features are powered by the S11 chip and Apple Intelligence models on the iPhone, with all processing happening locally on the watch.
Apple emphasizes privacy protections, stating that the watch processes audio with a lightweight ML model that detects if the audio is part of a conversation the user is involved in.
The new watches, which were unveiled at Apple's Surprise and Shine hardware event in September, also include a new Secure Exclave that processes conversation audio and deletes it.
Live Rewind and Siri Recap join other Audio Intelligence features such as Sound Recognition and faster Shazam song detection.
Apple has also introduced a new feature called Live Rewind, which can take notes and rewind time from previous conversations.
The developer beta of watchOS 27.3 is now available, with availability for public beta updates expected to follow shortly.

- Live Rewind recalls what was just said in the last 15 seconds by showing a text snippet on your Apple Watch when you double-press the Digital Crown, so you can catch something you missed or are less familiar with.
- Borrowing a trick from dedicated recovery trackers, Apple now gives you an official readiness score from 0 to 10 every morning.
- Pre-orders for both Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 are live today through the Apple website, with both arriving in stores on Friday, September 18.
