James Acaster, a comedian and host of the Off Menu podcast, has denied reports that he complained about his co-stars Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan during the filming of 'The Celebrity Traitors.' Acaster told Variety, 'I’ve been friends with those guys for like, over 10 years. They were lovely the entire show. I didn’t complain about any of my fellow players. It’s so completely fabricated.'

The reports emerged after The Mail on Sunday cited sources claiming Acaster had complained to producers about being teased and mocked by Beckett and Ranganathan. In response, the BBC issued a statement denying the claims as 'categorically untrue,' and Acaster's representatives echoed this stance.

The Celebrity Traitors, a spin-off of the British version of 'The Traitors,' has been a massive hit, averaging about 9.3 million live viewers per episode, a figure described by Deadline as 'almost unheard of outside of sport and major national events.'

The show's second season has seen ten celebrities compete, with Maya Jama and King Kenny being banished in the final episode on October 30. James Blunt was voted out last after choosing to banish again instead of ending the game.

While Acaster's denial of the complaints has been widely reported, the show's popularity and the drama it has generated continue to be a significant talking point in British entertainment.
