Defence24 reported no evidence of U.S. President Donald Trump preparing a nuclear strike on Iran, despite recent claims and concerns.

According to The 420.in, political commentator Tucker Carlson alleged that Trump could decide within days whether to use a nuclear weapon against Iran, citing Pickaxe Mountain as a deeply buried site that conventional weapons might not penetrate.

However, Carlson's claims have not been independently verified, and there is currently no public evidence that Washington has approved or formally prepared a nuclear strike.

In a separate development, Alabama Governor Kay Ivey commuted the death sentence of Toforest Johnson to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole, citing concerns about the direct evidence in the case.

Johnson’s lawyers argued that the state withheld evidence of monetary incentive for testimony, and they will continue to fight for a new trial.

The Bayeux Tapestry is preparing for its historic debut at the British Museum, with archaeological excavations around the former museum revealing evidence of tanning and dyeing from the 10th to 12th centuries, along with hundreds of burials.

The excavation began in May 2025, and archaeologists already knew that the area contained evidence of ancient occupation and cemeteries associated with the nearby Hôtel-Dieu.

The Times of Israel reported that the U.S. And Israeli planners have drawn up options for a short, intensive campaign against Iran’s nuclear facilities, missile and drone arsenals, and energy infrastructure after the U.S. Midterm elections on Nov. 3.

The deal under discussion would see the swift reopening of the Strait of Hormuz by Iran in exchange for sanctions relief from the US, followed by comprehensive talks on Tehran’s nuclear program.

Trump stated, “We’re not going to allow Iran ever to have a nuclear weapon, and they understand that. They’ve understood that and they’ve said it even recently.”
