On Tuesday, October 27, Dancing With the Stars (DWTS) celebrated Horror Movie Night, a theme that brought out the best and worst in the remaining 10 celebrity contestants.

The episode, which was the seventh of the season, featured performances inspired by legendary horror films, with each couple receiving scores from the judges.

Shirley Ballas, the head judge from the UK version of the show, Strictly Come Dancing, joined regular judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli.

Despite the high stakes, some contestants delivered standout performances. Jenna Dewan and Val Chmerkovskiy, who returned after a one-week suspension, earned a perfect score of 37 out of 40 for their Argentine tango, bringing their total score to 74 out of 80.

Tyler Cameron and Sharna Burgess also received a perfect score of 37/40 for their contemporary dance to 'Toxic' by 2WEI, inspired by the Saw franchise.

However, not all contestants fared well. Conner Leavitt and Adele Zaikman were eliminated after receiving the lowest combined scores and votes.

The episode also saw a double elimination, with the elimination of Conner Leavitt and Adele Zaikman.

Fans and judges alike were impressed by the performances, with Hough praising her own performance as 'one of the best Argentine tangoes I’ve ever seen on this floor.'

Despite the high scores, the judges remained critical, with Ballas noting that she had 'never seen anything quite like that.'

The voting process was also a topic of discussion, with host Julianne Hough revealing that voting was down on ABC’s website and encouraging viewers to send in their votes via text.
