Taylor Swift Inducted Into Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame
Confirmed
In Short: Taylor Swift became the youngest member of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, inducted by Brad Paisley at a gala in Nashville.

Taylor Swift was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame on Monday night, becoming the youngest member of the institution. The ceremony took place at the Music City Center, where Swift was honored by country singer Brad Paisley.
During her acceptance speech, Swift praised the unique music community in Nashville, stating, 'There is no music community like this music community. I know. I checked all the communities.' She also noted, 'I’m so incredibly honored to be inducted into this sacred club, especially at this point in my life.'
Swift highlighted her journey in Nashville, where she moved as a child to pursue her dream of becoming a country star. She mentioned that she learned important life lessons from the community, such as accommodating co-writers with hangovers or those needing to discuss personal issues before writing.
Paisley recalled Swift's early days in Nashville, noting how she wrote the entire 'Speak Now' album by herself. He said, 'This is somebody who has conquered the world and done it with songs.'
Swift joked about a past tour prank where Paisley filled her bus with live crickets, saying, 'We’ve been estranged since 2007,' before adding, 'I think we’re good now.'
Lainey Wilson performed a stripped-down acoustic version of Swift's hit 'Love Story,' and Swift thanked her, saying, 'I’ve had her new single on repeat. It just puts me in the best mood. It’s called ‘Kinda Love It.’ Check it out.'
Swift's induction comes after she was named the Songwriter-Artist of the Decade by the Nashville Songwriters Association International in 2022 and became the youngest woman inducted into the New York Songwriters Hall of Fame in June.
Swift has won 14 Grammy Awards and holds the record for the most Album of the Year wins, with four victories for 'Fearless,' '1989,' 'Folklore,' and 'Midnights.'
