Alexander Brothers Sentenced to 30 Years Each for Sex Trafficking
Confirmed
In Short: The Alexander brothers, Oren, Alon, and Tal, were each sentenced to 30 years in prison for their role in a decade-long sex trafficking scheme.

U.S. District Judge Valerie Caproni handed down the sentences on Tuesday, following a federal trial in New York City where the brothers were found guilty on all counts.
The Alexander brothers, who were once prominent real estate brokers, were accused of using their wealth and social status to lure women to parties and luxury homes, where they sexually assaulted them.
Prosecutors argued that the brothers' pattern of abusive behavior began in high school and continued into adulthood, with crimes starting in 2008.
During the five-week trial, 11 women testified about being lured, drugged, and sexually assaulted by the brothers over a period of years.
Judge Caproni also ordered the brothers to pay a combined $4.75 million in fines and restitution to some of their victims.
The brothers were found guilty of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking and sex trafficking by force, among other charges.
One victim, using the pseudonym Maya Miller, testified that Tal Alexander raped her in a shower during a 2014 visit to a Hamptons property.
Another victim, identified as Isa Brooks, said she lost the ability to trust herself after being raped by Tal and Alon Alexander when she was 16.
The defense argued that the prosecutors had little evidence to prove that the brothers had drugged anyone due to the lack of toxicology reports and medical records.
Despite the defense's arguments, Judge Caproni called the brothers' conduct 'monstrous' and said their assertion that they had been rehabilitated 'rings hollow.'
The brothers are expected to appeal their convictions, but for now, they face a minimum of 30 years in prison each.

The brothers were also ordered to serve 10 years of supervised release after their prison terms.
