Alexander Brothers Each Sentenced to 30 Years in Prison for Sex Trafficking
Confirmed
In Short: The Alexander brothers, Oren, Alon, and Tal, were each sentenced to 30 years in prison on Tuesday after being found guilty on all counts in their federal sex trafficking trial in New York City, according to ABC News - Breaking News, Latest News and Videos and BBC (United Kingdom).

The brothers, who were once successful real estate brokers, were accused of using their wealth and social status to lure women to parties and luxury homes, where they sexually assaulted them, as reported by BBC (United Kingdom), SMH.com.au (Australia), and The Times of Israel (Israel).
District Judge Valerie Caproni imposed the maximum sentences on each of the brothers, while defense lawyers had asked for the minimum of 15 years, as noted by NBC News and Usmagazine.
The brothers were found guilty in March of 10 counts, including conspiracy to commit sex trafficking and sex trafficking by force, after a trial that included testimony from 11 women who described being lured, drugged, and sexually assaulted over a period of years, according to NBC News and The Guardian.
The defense argued that the prosecutors had little evidence to prove that the brothers had drugged anyone due to the lack of toxicology reports, medical reports, and contemporaneous police reports, as reported by Usmagazine.
Prosecutors said the brothers' pattern of abusive behavior began in high school, though the trial involved crimes starting in 2008, according to BBC (United Kingdom).
During the five-week trial, 11 women, several of whom were minors at the time of the assaults, testified that the brothers gave them gifts and flew them to places including Aspen and the Bahamas where they fed them drugs before raping them, as reported by BBC (United Kingdom) and Fox News.
The brothers were also ordered to 10 years of supervised release and to pay a combined $4.75 million in fines, as well as restitution to some of their victims, according to Therealdeal.
The court heard from 12 victims, including one who did not testify during the trial, as reported by BBC (United Kingdom).
One woman, identified by the pseudonym Maya Miller, testified during the trial that Tal Alexander raped her in a shower during a 2014 visit to a Hamptons property, as reported by Miami New Times.
The brothers moved from Florida to New York in 2008 and founded their own New York-based firm called Official in 2022, according to The Guardian and BBC (United Kingdom).
The brothers are expected to appeal their convictions, as reported by Miami New Times.
The Alexander brothers were sentenced to 30 years in prison each, capping off the federal sex trafficking case set off by civil lawsuits first reported by The Real Deal nearly two years ago, according to Therealdeal and People.
