Seahawks' Zach Charbonnet Won't Return for Sunday's Game
· Confirmed
In Short: Seattle Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald announced Friday that running back Zach Charbonnet won't be ready to play this weekend against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Charbonnet was placed on the active roster on Thursday after being on the physically unable to perform list for the first six games of the season.
There had been speculation that Charbonnet might return in time to face the Chiefs, but Macdonald said Charbonnet isn't quite ready yet.
Charbonnet sustained a torn ACL in January and has been working to recover.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Seahawks ruled out Charbonnet for their Sunday night contest.
Charbonnet had been pushing to return as soon as possible, but the Seahawks decided it was not feasible for Sunday night.
Charbonnet rushed for 730 yards and 12 touchdowns for the Seahawks last season before his injury.
With former Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III set to return to Seattle with the Chiefs, the absence of Charbonnet makes the contest less intriguing.
Seattle is averaging 3.9 yards per rush through their first six games, and the Seahawks’ run defense is allowing an average of 96 yards a game, with four total rushing touchdowns.
The Seahawks have not allowed a rusher to go 100 or more yards in 35 straight games, the league’s longest current streak.
The Seahawks' decision to keep Charbonnet out of the game this week underscores the cautious approach to player health and recovery.
