Brewers Fans Frustrated Over 'Timeless Ticket' Redemption
· Confirmed
In Short: Kevin and Kyle Deaton, Milwaukee Brewers fans, are facing a dilemma after redeeming their 'Timeless Tickets' for seats at the 2026 World Series.

Kevin and Kyle Deaton, Milwaukee Brewers fans, are facing a dilemma after redeeming their 'Timeless Tickets' for seats at the 2026 World Series. The tickets, according to the information card, 'may be redeemed for the best available seat locations, subject to ticket availability at the time of redemption,' but the Deatons were stunned when they saw the seating options made available to Timeless Ticket holders last week: terrace level seats or standing room only.
The Deatons purchased their tickets more than a decade ago, when the Brewers sold 1,000 of them to fans for $1,000 each. They knew all along they would patiently wait for the perfect time to use them — a World Series in Milwaukee.
Kevin and Kyle were expecting better seats than what they received. 'I wasn't envisioning, hey, we're going to get front row. But certainly first ten rows,' Kevin Deaton said. Instead, they were offered seats in the upper deck and standing-room-only sections.
Kyle Deaton expressed his frustration, saying, 'When you promise somebody the best seat available, and you give them pretty much the worst seats that you have in the whole stadium, I would say, no. They're not honoring it.' He added, 'Which is why I refused. Out of principle, I'm not even going to go.'
The Milwaukee Brewers have received feedback from some fans who were unhappy with their seat locations. Brewers president of business operations Rick Schlesinger said Tuesday that several hundred fans had indicated they wanted to redeem their Timeless Tickets for a World Series game. 'While we were able to accommodate all with seats, we received feedback from some that they were unhappy with their seat locations,' Schlesinger said.
Schlesinger also acknowledged that the team did not live up to the spirit of the program. 'Clearly, even with extraordinary limitations on available seats, we did not live up to the spirit of the program, and we have been working through a resolution,' he said.
The team has apologized for how they handled their 'Timeless Ticket' promotion. 'We couldn’t even know what game we had. We just had to put a preference of which ones we wanted, and then we had to submit the form and just sit and wait for them what we got. I immediately was like, ‘No, that's bogus,’' said Fochesato, a fan who bargained his way to three 400-level seats for Saturday's Game 2 with the Tampa Bay Rays and one lower-level seat in the right-field corner for Friday's Game 1.
Kevin Deaton added, 'It’s been 11 years that we did this and put our faith in the Brewers.' He said, 'We're actively looking at the sites, and it's kind of remarkable to watch the pricing go up and the kind of the mania, but 10 years ago or 11 years ago I was like I won't have to deal with that.'
According to the team, any fans who accepted the subpar seats through the Timeless Ticket program will get to keep those seats for the World Series and keep their Timeless Ticket for redemption for another game in any future season.
The controversy has sparked discussions on social media and among fans. 'Since that story ran on Friday I've heard from a thousand of my closest friends. People I haven't heard from forever, social media, I guess it's all over social media,' Holzman said.
The Milwaukee Brewers are preparing to play in their first World Series in nearly four decades, but the attention is slowly drifting away from the franchise’s on-field accomplishment.
The Deatons and other fans are left questioning whether the organization is honoring a deal it made with 1,000 ticket holders more than a decade ago. 'I don't know what they could do to make this right for us,' Kyle said.
