The third season of Netflix's romantic comedy series 'Nobody Wants This' has arrived with a soundtrack featuring 16 new singles from a variety of artists.
Billboard reports that the album, set to release on Atlantic Records, includes contributions from Miley Cyrus, Ellie Goulding, Ravyn Lenae, Metric, Bella Kay, and a duet by Bailey Zimmerman and Stella Lefty.
Megan Moroney, a country star, was so inspired by the show that she wrote its first original song, 'Say When.'
'A lot of it is, 'Who are the most relevant, interesting artists that are zeitgeisty?' I personally love Bella Kay and Alyssa Grace. It makes so much sense for them to be part of it,' Tikhman said.
While artists may not feel as invested in a soundtrack as they would in their own album, Tikhman learned from past experiences and set clear expectations early on.
The season three soundtrack will be released one day after the 10 new episodes hit Netflix on October 22.
In addition to the soundtrack, the show's third season continues to explore themes of love, family, and friendship.
Joanne and Noah, played by Kristen Bell and Adam Brody, have moved in together, and Joanne is taking Jewish conversion classes.
The series also introduces new characters, including Sarah Silverman, Andrew Rannells, and Avan Jogia, who join the cast.
The show's third season has received positive reviews, with critics praising its relatable depiction of cohabitation and character growth.
'Nobody Wants This Season 3 offers a relatable depiction of the thrill and anxiety of cohabitation with a romantic partner,' said a reviewer from MovieWeb.

Background
Nobody Wants This is an American romantic comedy television series created by Erin Foster which premiered on Netflix on September 26, 2024 and stars Kristen Bell, Adam Brody, Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons and Jackie Tohn.
What's confirmed
- In season three, episode two of Netflix’s virally popular show “Nobody Wants This,” dating podcaster Joanne (Kristen Bell) tells her Intro to Judaism class what brought her there in the first place.
What's still developing
- Whenever there are debates about whether the rom-com is back, recent shows like Nobody Wants This are proof that the genre is thriving on streaming.
- Meanwhile, Sasha ( Timothy Simons ) and Esther ( Jackie Tohn ) are officially back on the dating scene since their split, and Morgan ( Justine Lupe ) starts leveling up her own career thanks to a viral catchphrase.
- “We live together” the duo dreamily and repeatedly huff at each other in the premiere, and thank goodness they’re so damn cute, because that would wear thin with any other couple.
- She is struggling, but simply wants to be happy.
- The comedy of Nobody Wants This always comes from real-life situations, and as Joanne explains how she wants to start each day, she experiences important character growth that was lacking in previous seasons.
- The actor has had a decades-long Hollywood career prior to joining Nobody Wants This, appearing in Single White Female (1992) and Dracula: Dead and Loving It (1995).
- Both Williams sisters started the Netflix series as self-absorbed, difficult people who were totally comfortable hurting whoever was in their way.
- The third season of “Nobody Wants This” does that successfully, giving Joanne and Noah big romantic moments, silly times, and meaningful conflict without ever putting their relationship at risk.
- That might seem right to Hannah Einbeinder or Susan Sarandon, but the middle class suburban audience that supports “Nobody Wants This” and Israel through UJA and other organizations, did not want this.
- But if you’re thirsty for the fizz of new romance … their siblings might set hearts aflutter J ust as you and your true love can’t have a second first date or another first kiss, romantic comedies can never go back.
- Season one flew past in a whirl of meet-cute, kiss-cute, date-cute and continue-their-romance-despite-supposedly-unresolvable-cultural-divide-cute.
- If nothing else, give Nobody Wants This credit for allowing itself a tiny bit of growth: After two seasons of exhaustingly circular conflict about whether a good-boy rabbi like Noah ( Adam Brody ) could ever really be with an agnostic Gentile sex podcaster like Joanne ( Kristen Bell ), season three begins not only with the couple moving in together, but Joanne starting Jewish conversion classes.
