Glee Reboot Ordered by Disney+ and Hulu
Confirmed
In Short: Glee, the high school musical comedy that ran from 2009 to 2015 on Fox, is officially getting a reboot on Disney+ and Hulu.

Creator Ryan Murphy revealed in July that he had been in touch with around ten of the original cast members, although no casting announcements have been made.
The show, which won six Emmys including a directing win for Murphy for the pilot episode, currently draws around 4 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
Murphy, who had vowed to himself to write a couple of scripts to gauge interest, noted that although there is a script, 'nobody’s read it' yet.
Lea Michele, who played Rachel Berry for all six seasons, also expressed her enthusiasm for a potential reboot, saying, 'It was a really tough show to do, and it would be really hard to do it now that Naya is gone. But I do know that Glee fans would probably come after me with pitchforks and jazz hands if I said no.'
The reboot is being produced by 20th Television, which produced the original series.
Disney and Hulu have not provided further details about the new Glee, but Murphy confirmed that he had just written a reboot script with collaborators Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan.
The original series currently streams on Hulu and has maintained a significant following, with Murphy noting that many young people are now watching it.
