One UI 9 adds customization options for the Quick Settings panel, allowing users to resize and rearrange controls.

According to Android Authority, Samsung is staying true to its promise of providing six years of OS updates for its devices.

The Galaxy A36 5G, while not the best mid-range smartphone, remains one of the most popular Samsung phones.

Samsung has also introduced useful interface tweaks, such as a network speed indicator in the status bar and a 'Warranty and care' section in the Settings app.

Some users have reported occasional lags with the new update, prompting Samsung to actively seek feedback to address these issues.

The Galaxy A36 5G is receiving the same update with the build version A366NKSU9DZIF.

Samsung has expanded its One UI 9 update program to include the Galaxy S23 and select mid-range devices, continuing its beta testing.

The update for the Galaxy A36 5G is expected to reach US units soon.

Samsung has not yet officially published a confirmed roster of One UI 9 eligible devices.

The Galaxy A37 is also receiving the One UI 9.0 update, with firmware versions A376USQU5BZI6 for the carrier-locked variant and A376U1UEU5BZI6 for the factory-unlocked variant.

What this adds

The Galaxy A36 5G update is part of Samsung's broader strategy to maintain a consistent update schedule for its devices.
