MUNA's Tour Bus Catches Fire in California
Confirmed
In Short: The band MUNA's tour bus caught fire on a California highway, but all members are safe.

The incident occurred around 8:20 a.m. when the California Highway Patrol received a call about a flaming bus on the southbound 5 freeway near Burbank, California.
According to reports, the driver was initially unaware that the rear of the bus was on fire.
The Burbank Fire Department responded and extinguished the flames, with news helicopters capturing footage of firefighters hosing down the badly damaged rear of the vehicle.
The band posted on social media, stating, 'Many personal items were lost but we’re all safe, thank goodness.'
Muna was scheduled to perform at Stanford’s Frost Amphitheater as part of their Gets So Hot Tour.
Aerial footage from KTLA showed extensive fire damage to the vehicle, particularly toward the rear of the bus.
The band had recently announced that guitarist and vocalist Katie McPherson would miss several tour dates to care for her mother, who was in the terminal stages of cancer.
Muna appeared on Los Angeles’ KTLA 5 local news network today to discuss the incident.
The band is now back on the road, with the Gets So Hot Tour, which kicked off on September 25.
