Trump Signals Progress in Russia-Ukraine Talks
Confirmed
In Short: In a Sunday Truth Social post, Trump said progress was being made in Russia-Ukraine negotiations and criticized Zelensky's actions.

Former President Donald Trump said in a Sunday Truth Social post that progress was being made in negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, and he did not want to hinder the advancement.
Trump accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky of not wanting to end the war and intentionally targeting Russian diesel refineries, despite the impact on global energy markets.
He also mentioned 'current hostage negotiations' but did not provide details.
Zelensky told NBC he hoped Trump would remain an ally of Ukraine, while also acknowledging that intelligence-sharing had been interrupted but later 'de-blocked'.
The Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the Wall Street Journal that there was no clear understanding yet regarding the meeting itself or its potential agenda.
The Kremlin has suggested holding the trilateral dialogue on the sidelines of the upcoming Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation summit, set to take place on November 18 to 19 in Shenzhen.
Russia's defense ministry said its forces had destroyed 1015 Ukrainian drones over 15 Russian regions, the annexed Ukrainian peninsula of Crimea, and the Black Sea.
