FCI Allenwood Low is a low-security federal correctional institution for male offenders located approximately 155 miles west of New York City.

Combs, 56, is serving a 50-month sentence for prostitution-related crimes and is due for release on March 2, 2028.

The transfer from one low-security facility to another is consistent with decisions made for safety and security reasons, according to a spokesperson.

FCI Fort Dix houses roughly 4,000 prisoners, while Allenwood Low holds about 1,000, according to reports.

Combs' representative stated, "Decisions about inmate placement are made by the BOP, and we are not in a position to speak to the circumstances surrounding this transfer. Sean remains focused on moving forward, and we hope that his time at the new facility will be productive and without unnecessary disruption."

TMZ reported that Combs lost 41 days of good time credit and 400 days of commissary privileges, suggesting the move may be related to security concerns.

However, a spokesperson for Combs disputed the significance of these reports, describing them as ordinary prison activity presented as exceptional due to his celebrity.

The Bureau of Prisons confirmed the move but declined to provide further details, citing privacy and security regulations.

Combs remains focused on serving his time, pursuing his appeal, and maintaining contact with his family and legal team.

The transfer comes amid reports of a fight involving Combs, though the Bureau of Prisons has denied these claims.

Despite the conflicting reports, both federal correctional institutions are low-security prisons.
