Google has launched Gemini 4 Argon globally for AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers, featuring an industry-leading 1 million output token limit and top scores on professional benchmarks, according to a blog post on Google's site.

The model is now available via the API in AI Studio and Gemini platform for Google AI Ultra subscribers, and for Google AI Ultra and Pro subscribers in the Gemini app and AI Mode in Search.

Google announced Argon in late September with initial availability limited to the $99.99-and-up AI Ultra tier, as reported by news.lavx.hu.

Developers will get 50 percent discounted API rates through November, as noted by Ars Technica.

With zero external libraries and 100% pure Python, Argon wrote its own 3D ray-tracing engine with a custom video tool and audio mixer to build and document a sunlit library from scratch, producing, narrating, and assembling this video with Gemini 3.8 TTS voiceover and music by Lyria 3.5.

Argon excels at deep work in complex, real-world tasks across domains including coding, finance, legal, cybersecurity, and science.

Engineers also turned Gemini 4 loose on the proprietary drone physics simulator used in Project Wing, and the AI found critical bugs that had been in the codebase since 2018.

Argon identified redundant emoji rendering that, when eliminated, dropped server load by 45 percent, as reported by Ars Technica.

After tracing production profile data, Argon found that redundant emoji rendering alone drove nearly 45% of server overhead, and it produced 12 targeted optimizations, according to news.lavx.hu.

Google has also revealed that Google employees are internally testing additional Gemini 4 checkpoints.

Recent Antigravity changes introduce references to the model in its selector alongside three context configurations: 256K by default, 512K consuming approximately 1.3x quota per turn, and 900K consuming around 1.8x quota per turn.

For a while now, I’ve relied on @GeminiApp and @antigravity agents across a wide range of use cases—spanning creativity, productivity, and analysis.
