The New York Port Authority reported that Blair was taken into custody and transported to the hospital for evaluation. The FBI is investigating the incident, and Blair has been issued a federal summons for the alleged assault.

Blair's publicist told the BBC that she had experienced a medical emergency that led to the alleged conduct. She said she accidentally mixed her medication with alcohol and 'made a big mistake' that caused her to 'black out' and 'say and do things that I deeply regret.'

In her 2022 memoir, 'Mean Baby,' Blair wrote about biting celebrities Sienna Miller, Seth MacFarlane, and Kate Moss when 'my system gets overwhelmed and instantaneously short-circuits.'

Delta Airlines spokespersons stated that the airline has zero tolerance for unruly or unlawful behavior, emphasizing the safety of customers and crew as the top priority. The flight arrived at John F. Kennedy International Airport without operational impact.

Blair, who is 54 and starred in films such as 'Hellboy' and 'Cruel Intentions,' was previously investigated by the FBI following an alleged altercation on a Delta Air Lines flight from Los Angeles to New York.

According to TMZ, one of the flight attendants sustained a laceration and the other a bite. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey reported that two flight attendants reported injuries, and one was taken to the hospital.

Blair's attorney said she experienced a medical emergency on the plane but did not get into specifics. Airport officials responded to a call about 'a physically abusive passenger' on the flight.
