Polish Security Services Meet Over Possible Assassination Threat

In August, Polish police had detained a 23-year-old man accused of calling for the assassination of senior politicians, raising concerns about potential threats to government officials.
The meeting was first announced after a September 24 meeting in New York between Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.
Sending troops to assist would be difficult due to the Pakistan Army's stretched resources from border clashes with Afghanistan, tensions with India, and domestic attacks by armed groups.
