Ella Langley Cancels Tulsa Concert Due to Security Threat

Langley’s tour continues Saturday night in Lubbock, Texas, at United Supermarkets Arena, before coming to Los Angeles for two shows at the Greek Theater on Oct. 13-14.
The BOK Center receptionist told Billboard, 'We’re not able to give a comment to the media at this time,' and Billboard reached out to Oakview Group, which operates the venue, but has not heard back.
Langley’s Instagram post read, 'Due to a serious security threat involving the safety of my fans, venue personnel, and the artist, Ella Langley’s scheduled performance tonight at BOK Center in Tulsa has been canceled.'
Langley’s Dandelion Tour was set to take the stage Friday, October 9, but the show was called off just hours before the performance.
Officers conducted a preliminary sweep of the building with K-9 officers and found 'no indication of a threat,' according to Country Now.
Langley stated, 'The safety and well-being of everyone involved is our absolute priority, and after careful consideration, we have determined that the show cannot proceed.'
Langley issued a statement via her official social media accounts, announcing the cancelation of the show.
Hours before the concert, she announced the cancellation over a 'serious security threat' posed to the event.
Langley said, 'We understand the disappointment this news brings and apologize to fans who planned to attend. The safety of fans is our foremost concern and will always come first.'
Langley added, 'This decision was made under the advisement of local authorities, the venue, and my security team.'
Langley wrote on her Instagram Story, 'Due to a serious security threat involving the safety of my fans, the venue staff, and my team, the incredibly difficult decision was made to cancel tonight’s show.'
Langley’s tour began May 7 in Toledo, Ohio, and was extended with 21 additional dates.
