Ella Langley Cancels Tulsa Concert Amid Security Threat
Confirmed
In Short: Country singer Ella Langley canceled her Friday night concert at Tulsa's BOK Center due to a reported security threat.

Country singer Ella Langley canceled her concert at Tulsa's BOK Center on Friday night, just hours before showtime, due to a reported security threat.
Langley announced the cancellation on her Instagram page, stating, 'Due to a serious security threat involving the safety of my fans, venue staff, and my team, the incredibly difficult decision was made to cancel tonight’s show.'
The Tulsa Police Department conducted a preliminary sweep of the venue with K-9 officers and found no indication of a threat. However, a threatening call was made, prompting another sweep that also found no credible threat.
Despite the lack of evidence, Langley’s team decided to cancel the show out of an abundance of caution.
Langley’s tour continues Saturday night in Lubbock, Texas, and includes upcoming shows in Los Angeles, Des Moines, and Saint Paul.
The BOK Center, where the concert was to take place, described the threat as involving fans, venue workers, and Langley herself.
Captain Richard Meulenberg of the Tulsa Police Department said in a Facebook video, 'The person who called this in with a phone call disrupted this event for all these folks.'
Langley expressed her disappointment in a personal note, saying, 'I know how much time, travel, money and planning goes into coming to a show, and I can't tell you how sorry I am.'
The singer, who is currently on her Dandelion Tour, noted that the decision was made under the advisement of local authorities, the venue, and her security team.
Tulsa police believe the threat was likely a swatting call, and they insist they would never recommend canceling an event if they couldn’t find a credible threat.
Langley’s tour continues with shows still planned for Texas, Los Angeles, Des Moines, and Saint Paul, with the next stop in Lubbock, Texas, on Saturday night.
