Darko Mesaroš, a distinguished developer advocate at AWS, emphasized the growing importance of 'vibe coding' in software development during a recent interview with The Indian Express.

Mesaroš explained that AI tools like Kiro Crew can learn and adapt to a developer's coding habits over time, reducing the need for repetitive explanations of preferences and requirements.

With over three decades of experience in tech, systems administration, and software development, Mesaroš highlighted the expanding role of developers in the AI-driven landscape.

He noted that developers must now focus on broadening their skill sets beyond just coding, including understanding customer bases, systems design, and scaling operations.

Mesaroš also addressed the enthusiasm and creativity of Indian developers using AI tools to build innovative projects.

He stressed that while AI is transforming coding, the responsibility for software changes still lies with human developers, who must approve every pull request and software change.
