Seeman was officiating in a fixture between the Arizona Cardinals and the New York Giants when he appeared to angrily direct an expletive at Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride during the team’s loss to the New York Giants.

According to ESPN, Seeman said “f—k you” twice to McBride after McBride complained about the lack of a flag for pass interference.

Meanwhile, Hill was involved in an incident with a player during a game between the Miami Dolphins and the Tennessee Titans.

Hill briefly took issue with a player, 32, falling into him after another player pushed him during the game.

The NFL Players Association’s executive director, JC Tretter, called Seeman’s response “unacceptable” in a statement to PFT on Sunday.

“This kind of behavior from an official towards a player is unacceptable,” Tretter said on social media along with a video clip of the incident.

Arizona coach Mike LaFleur said, “Obviously, you hate to see it, for obvious reasons.”

Kevin O’Connell, Vikings Coach, said, “I think Adrian’s a really good official and does a really good job.”

This isn’t the first time an official has been punished for interactions with a player on the field.

Players yelling at the sidelines — even their own — is nothing new, but officials are held to a higher standard of conduct.
