Josh Goldstine to Oversee Marketing and Distribution for Paramount, Warner Bros. and Skydance Films
Confirmed
In Short: Veteran studio executive Josh Goldstine will now oversee marketing and distribution for Paramount, Warner Bros., and any other film labels under the Skydance banner, following the Paramount-Warner Bros. Discovery merger that closed Tuesday.

Goldstine joined Paramount in October 2025 as president of worldwide marketing and distribution, following David Ellison’s acquisition of the company that August.
He previously served as president of worldwide marketing at Warner Bros., departing in January 2025 after a four-year tenure.
Goldstine’s new role will see him manage a slate of over 30 films per year, including high-profile releases such as the “Superman” sequel “Man of Tomorrow,” “Godzilla x Kong: Supernova,” and “A Minecraft Movie Squared.”
Warner Bros.’ distribution and marketing teams, including global distribution chief Jeff Goldstein and marketing execs Dana Nussbaum, Christian Davin, and John Stanford, will report to Goldstine.
Goldstine’s exit from Warner Bros. in January 2025 came after a turbulent year that saw the studio release both flops and blockbusters.
Sources told Variety that Goldstine’s hiring is a remarkable comeback, given his abrupt dismissal in January 2025 by former WB motion picture chiefs Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy.
Ellison confirmed the leadership team for the newly merged company, including George Cheeks as co-chair and chief content officer of Skydance TV, Casey Bloys as co-chair and chief content officer, and JB Perrette as co-chair and chief business officer.
Greenstein and Goldberg were named co-chairs of Skydance Motion Picture Group, overseeing both Warner Bros. and Paramount.
In a message to staff, Skydance CEO David Ellison and Co-CEO Ynon Kreiz praised the company's employees for their patience and hard work during the year-long process of merging Paramount and Warner Bros. into Skydance.
