Ukraine Launches Drone Attack on Moscow Oblast on Putin's Birthday

The Ukrainian air force reported launching 138 Russian drones of various types across the country overnight, according to the Interfax-Ukraine news agency.
At least three people were killed and a major refinery was damaged in the Moscow region during the attack, according to Al Jazeera.
The attack also caused extensive damage to civilian infrastructure, including a fire triggered by a drone crashing into a 21-storey building, which forced the evacuation of 400 people.
In the Donetsk region, three people were slain and 11 injured, while in Kremenchuk, Poltava Oblast, two people were killed and extensive damage was inflicted on private residential quarters and multi-story apartment buildings.
The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a warning to foreign nationals and diplomatic personnel in Kyiv, cautioning that remaining in the Ukrainian capital poses a “mortal danger” as Russian forces continue delivering aerial strikes across the country.
