During his visit, Saini addressed a business programme organized by the Singapore Business Federation, bringing together Singaporean industrialists, business leaders, and sector representatives.

Saini highlighted Haryana’s investor-friendly policies, industrial ecosystem, infrastructure, and support facilities, emphasizing the state’s existing industrial capabilities and opportunities for companies seeking to establish or expand operations in India.

Saini also outlined specific incentives and policies for industries such as semiconductors, electronics, AI, data centers, medical devices, automobiles, electric vehicles, agri-business, and global capability centers.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai invited investors to become long-term partners, highlighting the state’s large mineral resource reserves and strong trade relations with Singapore.

The two chief ministers held meetings with Singapore investors, focusing on investment opportunities in mineral resources and their states’ planned shift from an agri-economy to technology-driven industries.

The forum, attended by around 300 Singapore-based investors, focused on Indian industrialization programs.

On Tuesday, the chief ministers and their delegations will visit Singapore industrial sites, including a technical education center, and hold round-table discussions with CEOs.

This is the first time two Indian chief ministers have jointly addressed Singapore investors, citing each state’s role in the robustly growing Indian economy, which registered 7.8 per cent GDP growth at last count.
