In Short: Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said Monday that both wide receivers, Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, are day-to-day following their injuries in Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Chase left the game early in the second quarter with a concussion, while Higgins suffered an adductor injury late in the fourth quarter.

Taylor noted that Chase is still in concussion protocol, adding that the team will develop a rehab and preparation plan for Higgins starting on Wednesday, the first practice day of the week.

Higgins had a standout performance despite the injury, catching 11 passes for 157 yards on 16 targets.

Taylor expressed optimism about Higgins' recovery, saying, "He's coming along faster than I would have initially thought."

However, the injuries to Chase and Higgins will limit an already-depleted group of receivers, with Andrei Iosivas on injured reserve and rookie Colbie Young dealing with a knee injury.

The Bengals currently have only two healthy receivers on their 53-player roster: Dohnte Meyers and Mitch Tinsley.

Taylor did not rule out either player for the Week 5 game against the Miami Dolphins, but said, "We'll take them day-to-day."

The Bengals are in the midst of their first losing streak this season after falling to the Jaguars at home.

Following the Week 5 game, the Bengals will have a bye week before facing the Baltimore Ravens in a crucial AFC North matchup.
