Meri Brown, who separated from Kody in 2022, expressed surprise at the news that Kody and Robyn were not returning to the show. She noted, 'I was actually surprised when I was told that Kody and Robyn weren't coming back to the show.'
Janelle Brown, who also separated from Kody in 2021, described the news as 'flabbergasting.' Christine Brown, who is celebrating her third anniversary with David Woolley, acknowledged, 'I didn't know how to process it all.'
The Browns' children have also been vocal about their splits from Kody. Mykelti Padron, Christine's daughter, has maintained a connection with both Kody and Robyn but noted, 'We're not talking, but we're not not talking.'
Mykelti added, 'You gotta treat my whole family nice, you gotta treat my kids nice. You gotta talk to all of us, you can't just have me.' She expressed concern that her relationship with her father is slowly deteriorating.
What this adds
The show's absence of Kody and Robyn marks a significant shift in the dynamics of the series, focusing on the remaining OG spouses.

What's still developing
- While he remains close to Robyn's eldest Dayton, Aurora and Breanna (plus younger siblings Solomon, 14, and Ariella, 10) Janelle has estimated that Kody is " alienated from 90 to 95 percent " of his children.

- Safe to say Kody Brown 's brood is officially divided.
- But, "right now, we don't have a very deep relationship," the mother of three acknowledged during a November appearance on the Pop Psych YouTube series.
- "And he's going to be like, 'I want to have a relationship with you right now. My relationship with them is separate."
- "that my dad and the chance of having a really close relationship with my dad is slowly going away."
- "My dad and I aren't like, close, close, close, close, close, close."
