Despite the technical foul, the fan was allowed to return to their seat, and it was determined that no code of conduct violation had occurred.

According to ESPN's Kareem Copeland, this was not the first incident involving Fever fans and Aces players. Two fans were removed from their courtside seats after heckling Jackie Young during an August game.

The third-seeded Aces eliminated the sixth-seeded Fever in the first round of the playoffs, winning Game 3 with a score of 94-83.

Cox emphasized that no actions by Fever fans this season rose to the level of violating the WNBA's fan code of conduct.

In a statement to Bvmsports, Cox said, 'The attacks on our fanbase have no basis in reality, and they need to stop, especially with members of the media.'
