Bellamy emphasized the potential to bring the world of Gielinor to life in new formats, beyond just games.
The animated series is part of Jagex's broader strategy to expand the 'RuneScape' universe.
RuneFest also featured announcements for new content and updates for the existing RuneScape games.
Jagex revealed plans for a fourth RuneScape MMO and a new expansion area in the main series.
