Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike McCarthy said he regrets his heated exchange with quarterback Aaron Rodgers during Thursday's 27-24 loss to the Cleveland Browns.

Rodgers threw for 299 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions, but was hit 10 times, including five sacks.
McCarthy noted, 'Communication sometimes is not the best choice of words, but everybody's competing on the field.
Rodgers added, 'It wasn't our cleanest game all the way around.
Rodgers also mentioned that the noise at Huntington Bank Stadium had impacted his ability to communicate with his coaches.
The Steelers were outgained 372-361, and an attempt at a Hail Mary from Rodgers to Roman Wilson was intercepted to seal the Browns' win.
McCarthy expressed regret for the negative communication, saying, 'Any negative communication on my part, I wish I wouldn't use those words.
