Culkin expressed his enjoyment in playing the Devil and his interest in reprising the role in future episodes. The special marks the first time Culkin has voiced a character on 'Family Guy,' adding a new voice to the long-running series that has been nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series and has won multiple Emmys for voice acting.

The process of creating each 'Family Guy' episode is extensive, taking about 14 months from table read to final cut, according to Variety. This lengthy production timeline ensures that the show avoids timely subject matter, allowing for a consistent creative process.

Since its debut in 1999, 'Family Guy' has become a staple of animated comedy, with Seth MacFarlane winning three Emmys for Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance and series writer Mike Henry winning once. The show's commitment to quality and its unique humor have made it a favorite among fans for over two decades.
