Veteran communications executive Erik Bright has joined PMK Entertainment as Executive Vice President of Content and Strategic Communications, overseeing the firm’s bi-coastal content publicity team.
Based in Los Angeles, Bright will play a key leadership role in PMK’s global strategic communications practice, reporting to Dennis Dembia, the company’s president of strategic communications.
Bright’s extensive experience includes over 16 years as president and CEO of Prodigy PR, where he built a full-service PR and marketing firm for studios, independents, festivals, and creators.
PMK Entertainment CEO Cindi Berger said, “Erik brings an exceptional combination of creative vision, deep industry relationships and strategic communications expertise to PMK. His track record of building a successful agency and delivering impactful campaigns make him a tremendous addition to our leadership team.”

Bright’s new role will see him continue to be based in Los Angeles but will help the firm oversee a bi-coastal content publicity team that works across film and TV campaigns.
Bright’s recent campaigns include “Hamnet,” “Black Bag,” James McAvoy’s forthcoming directorial debut “California Schemin’,” and the Netflix documentary “Skywalkers: A Love Story.”
Bright started his career more than 25 years ago at Eddie Michaels & Associates, where he supported campaigns for talent such as Noah Wyle and Anjelica Huston.
Before founding Prodigy PR, Bright served as a partner and vice president at Insignia PR and Media Strategies, servicing corporate and film clients.
