This iconic ad-free Android TV launcher is finally getting a makeover after nearly a decade
Developing
In Short: Developer Chainfire announces a major update to the popular Android TV launcher.

Developer Chainfire, known for creating SuperSU, announced the return of Sideload Launcher after an eight-year hiatus. The launcher, which has been around for over a decade, will receive a significant update.
The new version of Sideload Launcher will feature a cleaner, more modern user interface. Chainfire posted about the development on X, jokingly saying it would give millions of users a heart attack.
Sideload Launcher allows users to display all their apps, including sideloaded ones and those from unofficial sources, on their Android TV. It is an alternative to Google’s restrictions on apps that aren’t preinstalled or downloaded from the Play Store.
Chainfire released a tongue-in-cheek video to accompany the announcement, highlighting the excitement and anticipation for the updated launcher.
