Sirianni Apologizes for Outburst Over Hurts Hit
Developing
In Short: Philadelphia Eagles coach Nick Sirianni expressed remorse for his reaction to the sideline hit on quarterback Jalen Hurts by Chicago Bears linebacker D'Marco Jackson during Monday night's game.

Sirianni was seen shouting expletives toward Jackson after Hurts was hit hard in the shoulder area, causing him to crash to the turf. Jackson was penalized for unnecessary roughness.
Hurts was temporarily knocked out of the game and was directed off the field to be tested for a concussion. He was visibly upset as he exited the medical tent.
Sirianni's postgame comments differed from his initial reaction, acknowledging that he put both himself and Jackson in a difficult situation.
Hurts, who was not yet cleared to return to the game, left the medical tent to watch the third-down play unfold.
In a separate incident, USC football coach Lincoln Riley's offensive coordinator Dante Stephens issued an apology for his reaction to a hit on USC player Dante Alcala, wishing him a full recovery.
