Tight end Terrance Ferguson is expected to miss the Los Angeles Rams' Week 4 game against the Philadelphia Eagles after sustaining a medial ankle sprain during the team's game against the Denver Broncos.

According to head coach Sean McVay, Ferguson's injury occurred early in the first quarter and he was ruled out of the game after a nine-yard reception in the second quarter.

McVay also provided an update on quarterback Matthew Stafford's backup, tight end Colby Parkinson, who sustained an AC sprain in his shoulder during the game against Denver.

While Parkinson did not experience any setbacks with his knee injury, his status for the upcoming game remains uncertain.

Stafford appeared to be looking towards Parkinson late in the game, indicating his potential importance as a receiving option.
