‘Reacher’ Gets Early Season 6 Renewal Shortly After Season 4 Wraps With 66M Viewers In 28 Days
Confirmed
In Short: Prime Video’s early renewals for 'Reacher' stretch back to season three, which was ordered two weeks before the second season debuted in December 2023.

Prime Video announced on Monday that 'Reacher' has been renewed for a sixth season, marking the second renewal this year for the series.
The decision to renew 'Reacher' comes shortly after the conclusion of its fourth season, which garnered 66 million viewers globally within 28 days of its release in August.
According to Amazon, 'Reacher' has reached more than 200 million viewers worldwide since its launch in 2022.
The show's consistent performance has earned it an unusually early renewal, with Prime Video ordering Season 5 back in May, months before Season 4 even premiered.
Season 4 of 'Reacher' now ranks among the top 5 most-viewed seasons of any original series on Prime Video, with Seasons 2, 3, and 4 ranking as the platform’s 3 most-watched returning seasons ever.
More than half of Season 4’s audience came from outside the United States, with especially strong numbers in the UK, Germany, and Brazil.
The series, based on Lee Child’s Jack Reacher novels and starring Alan Ritchson, has consistently been one of the Amazon-owned streamer’s biggest shows.
There is no word yet on which book will serve as source material for Season 6, but fans likely won’t be waiting long to find out.
Additionally, 'Reacher' has spawned a spinoff series, 'Neagley,' starring Maria Sten, which is also looking good for a Season 2 renewal.
As the season concluded, viewers expressed a desire for another season just to spend more time with the side characters and explore their stories further.
What this adds
The early renewal for 'Reacher' highlights its consistent performance and popularity on Prime Video.
The spinoff 'Neagley' has shown promise, with viewers expressing interest in additional seasons.
