Ducks QB Moore Sustains Concussion in Hit Against USC
Confirmed
In Short: Oregon quarterback Dante Moore sustained a concussion after being hit while sliding during the second quarter of Saturday's 41-27 win over USC, Ducks coach Dan Lanning announced Sunday.

Moore was sliding to complete an 11-yard run to the USC 12 when linebacker Desman Stephens II hit him in the head and chest with his shoulder.
The hit left Moore motionless on the turf, prompting a melee on the field and unsportsmanlike conduct penalties for both teams.
Moore was carted off the field and taken to Los Angeles General Medical Center for evaluation.
Lanning said that Moore had the ability to move during his postgame news conference and that his MRI and CT scans came back clean.
Under NCAA concussion protocol, Moore cannot return to play that same day and must be monitored in the days following the injury.
Each step generally takes at least 24 hours, and Moore cannot advance to unrestricted practice until he is back to unrestricted schoolwork.
Moore had completed 8-of-10 passes for Oregon before leaving due to the injury.
He was replaced by Dylan Raiola, who completed 19-of-25 passes for 289 yards and a pair of touchdowns in relief of Moore.
Stephens was penalized for targeting and ejected from the game for the hit on Moore.
Stephens later apologized and expressed empathy for Moore and his family in a statement issued by the Trojans.
Oregon is heading into a bye week, and the Ducks next play UCLA on October 10.
Moore is expected to return this season after suffering a concussion on an ugly hit against USC.
