Ukrainian forces reportedly struck an oil refinery in Yaroslavl and an electronics plant in Ulyanovsk overnight, causing fires and damage, according to reports.
The Yaroslavl refinery, one of Russia’s five largest, reportedly processes around 15 million tonnes of crude oil annually and was already undergoing repairs after a July strike.
The Iskra electronics plant in Ulyanovsk, which manufactures components for communications and radio technology, was also reportedly hit.
In Perm, an oil refinery was set ablaze after being targeted, eyewitnesses said.
The Yaroslavl refinery has been targeted at least eight times in 2026, according to reports.
The Saratov refinery, which had previously halted operations several times, was reportedly shut down after being hit in August.
The strikes on Russian oil refineries and industrial facilities have caused disruptions to Russia’s oil production and supply chains.
The General Staff of Ukraine said the targeted facilities are involved in supplying Russian forces with fuel and lubricants.

Multiple videos posted to social media showed the Moscow Oil Refinery ablaze after several drone strikes. The Air Force reported that Russian troops launched 138 attack drones against Ukraine, of which 101 were intercepted.
