Warner Bros. Shifts 'Dynamic Duo' and 'Gremlins' Release Dates

Warner Bros. has announced a change in release dates for two upcoming films: 'Dynamic Duo,' an animated feature focusing on the origins of Dick Grayson and Jason Todd as Robins, will now be released on September 22, 2028, instead of June 30, 2028.
The shift in 'Dynamic Duo's' release date is aimed at positioning the film as a back-to-school animated feature, appealing to K-12 students, teens, and college kids.
The VoiceOver cast for 'Dynamic Duo' includes Mason Thames as Dick Grayson, Logan Kim as Jason Todd, Lee Pace as Red Hood One, and Steve Buscemi as Red Hood Two.
The third 'Gremlins' film, directed by Chris Columbus and written by Columbus alongside Zach Lipovsky and Adam B., has also seen its release date pushed back.
The new release date for 'Dynamic Duo' places it five months ahead of 'The Batman: Part II,' which is set to open in February 2028.
Warner Bros. and Amblin Entertainment have also produced an animated series called 'Secrets of the Mogwai,' which has aired two seasons on HBO Max since 2023.
The third 'Gremlins' film is a joint project between DC Studios and the Bill Damaschke-led Warner Bros. Pictures Animation.
The release date changes are unrelated to Warner Bros.' pending merger with Paramount.
