The upcoming seasons, titled 'Icons' and 'Desserts,' will delve into the personal journeys of some of the world's most innovative chefs.
According to Variety, 'Chef’s Table: Icons' will explore what it takes to reach the summit of the culinary world and the discipline required to maintain that status.
Meanwhile, 'Chef’s Table: Desserts' will spotlight the world’s most inventive dessert chefs and the artistry behind their creations.
Series creator, director, and executive producer David Gelb said, 'Chef’s Table has always been about more than food. It’s about the personal journey of the chefs who tell stories with their cuisine — the obsession, discipline, and heart that goes into every night of service in their kitchens and dining rooms.
For the first time since the series launched in 2015, Gelb will direct every episode of both seasons himself.
