Panettiere was found unresponsive at an apartment in Greenville on August 16, where she had been staying with her boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, and his brother, Zach Hickerson.
According to the coroner's report, no signs of trauma were found that would have contributed to her death.
The report also noted that Panettiere had recently been released from a drug rehab center in Malibu, California, before her death.
At the scene, investigators found blue pressed pills and a straw on a table that tested positive for fentanyl, along with a white powdery substance in a sunglasses case inside her suitcase.
Panettiere's co-star from the TV series 'Nashville,' Connie Britton, and other celebrities attended a memorial service for her in California over the weekend.

- The coroner's office said the other four drugs in her system were: 4-ANPP, a man-made byproduct of making fentanyl; alprazolam, known as Xanax, which commonly treats anxiety and panic disorders; methocarbamol, known as Robaxin, which treats muscle spasms and related injuries; and quetiapine, known as Seroquel, an antipsychotic medication used to treat mental health conditions that can also help with sleep.
