Warner Chappell Co-Chair Carianne Marshall to Step Down

In Short: Carianne Marshall, co-chair and chief operating officer of Warner Chappell Music, is set to step down from her role at the end of October, as the company streamlines its leadership structure.
Marshall joined Warner Chappell Music in June 2018 and co-led the publisher alongside Guy Moot since April 2019.
Warner Chappell Music CEO Guy Moot will become the sole chair of the company, effective October 1, taking over the role previously shared with Marshall.
Marshall will remain with the company until the end of the year to ensure a smooth transition.
During her tenure, Marshall introduced WCM’s Creative Services department, which aims to amplify commercial and creative opportunities for songwriters.
Warner Music Group highlighted Marshall’s contributions to building a culture that fosters curiosity, collaboration, and commitment in service of championing songwriters at every stage of their careers.
Marshall expressed gratitude for her time at Warner Chappell, emphasizing the company's growth and the culture and values she helped foster.
In a statement, Warner Music Group thanked Marshall for her dedication and impact, wishing her the best in her next chapter.
