Bobbi Brown responded with a statement on Instagram, saying, 'Last week, the Jones Road Beauty team and I launched Wide Awake neutralizer and concealer.' She added, 'There is room for all of us. All of us,' but acknowledged the issue.
Brown later apologized directly to Sims, stating, 'I would never knowingly copy another product's name. To Molly Sims and her team at Y I SE, I'm sorry this happened, and we're taking steps to correct it.
While a new name for the product has not yet been announced, Brown assured that they would be moving in a different direction to address the situation.
Sims, who founded Y I SE in 2023, emphasized that there is room for all brands in the market but expressed her frustration over the naming conflict.
