The play was ruled a fumble on the field, but officials reviewed it and determined Treadwell was down by contact.
The Colts ended up settling for a tying 38-yard field goal.
The Chiefs took over with 3:11 left in the extra session, handing off to Walker on three straight plays to reach midfield.
